Srinagar, Feb 5 (IBNS): Trolls are having a field day over a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking a boat ride on the Dal Lake where he appears to be waiving to no one in particular.

Shared by the BJP official Twitter handle, Modi is seen sporting a hat and dark glasses while standing at the front of a motorised boat.

Reports say mobile services were disconnected and security was impenetrable around the lake and it was quite impossible for anyone to be on the shores waving to the PM.

"Wah modiji wah.. waited for 5 hours and walked 15kms to check in to our hotel. Please share you travel itenary for the whole year publicly so that aam aadmi don't plan their holidays where you visit!" wrote a Twitter user in reply to the video.

"Funny thing is, he's waving his hand in a way to potray there are people, when, as a matter of fact, dal lake is enormously huge, and you cannot see who's on the banks. Secondly, people weren't allowed to go there, roads were sealed. Thirdly, there was only security & none," said another user.

"Is he waving to the fishes in the lake..." wondered someone else.

"He knows the cameras are ON ;)" said another user.
