Ex-West Bengal minister Abdus Sattar joins Congress
Kolkata, Dec 11 (IBNS): Former West Bengal minister Abdus Sattar joined the Congress on Monday.
He has ended his long association with the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M).
Sattar joined the Congress in the presence of party's state chief Somen Mitra and in-charge of Bengal Gaurav Gogoi.
Congress leader Prabhat Tewari tweeted: " CPI(M) Leader & Ex.Minister Govt.Of WB. Dr.Abdur Sattar join @INCWestBengal Party under the leadership of PCC President @SomenMitraINC AICC Gen.Secretary @GauravGogoiAsm ji at Bidhan Bhawan,Kolkata Today. @bpsinghjnu @ABHIJIT_LS @MausamNoor @Zoheb_Sh."
