Ex-BSP MP’s son pulls out gun at five-star hotel in Delhi, video clip goes viral

New Delhi, Oct 16 (IBNS): In a small clip, a Lucknow-based realtor and son of an ex-BSP lawmaker could be seen pulling out a gun at the entrance of a 5-star hotel in south Delhi and threatening guests, media reports said.

The politician's son could be identified as Ashish Pandey.

He is the son of former BSP MP Rakesh Pandey.

In the clip, which has been widely circulated, the person could be seen threatening a woman outside Hyatt Regency hotel with a gun in his hand.

The woman was reportedly threatened after he walked into the women's washroom and she objected to it.

Sources told Hindustan Times Pandey went to his car after the quarrel and then took out the gun before threatening her. 

Reacting to the incident, Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju tweeted: "Delhi Police has initiated action on this incident which is also being shown in the media. FIR has been registered under Arms Act and IPC. Strong and appropriate action will be taken. Also verifying the identity of others."

On the basis of the video, the police have registered a case under the Arms Act.
