New Delhi, Sept 8 (IBNS) External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday indicated that a meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of UN General Assembly session this month could not be ruled out.

She said the move will be made as per the situation.

Speaking at a press conference here, Swaraj said: "We will respond as the situation develops."

The Narendra Modi government in New Delhi had called off talks with Pakistan scheduled in Islamabad on Aug 25 between the two foreign secretaries after Pakistan envoy invited and met the separatist leaders of Kashmir in New Delhi.

The move had hit the relationship between the two Asian nations.
