Guwahati, May 15 (IBNS): Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday said that Rahul Gandhi is the only Congress leader who can fight against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP.

He said that, Congress is capable to fight against Modi and BJP under leadership of Rahul Gandhi.

Tarun Gogoi alleged that, BJP is using money to play dirty politics to capture power.

"We won in Manipur, Goa and Meghalaya, but they formed government by playing dirty politics," Gogoi said.

On the Karnataka verdict, the senior Congress leader said that, the result was unexpected and every sections thought that, Congress will emerge as the single largest party, but it didn't.

"In Karnataka, Congress faced anti-incumbency and it is one of the causes for the party's failure," Gogoi said.
