Asansol/Kolkata, Mar 31 (IBNS): West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi, on Saturday, met senior police and administrative officials in violence-hit Asansol and Raniganj, according to media reports.

The Governor is expected to visit the violence hit areas later in the day. reports said.

The Asansol-Raniganj belt saw clashes between two groups of people over Ram Navami processions that left one person killed and two police officers injured, media reports said.
