Kashmir: Indian soldier martyred in cross border firing in Nowshera Sector

Srinagar, Dec 31 (IBNS): An Indian soldier has been killed in cross border firing along the Line of Control in Nowshera Sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning.

According to reports, Pakistan Army resorted to indiscriminate firing resulting in the injuries of a soldier.

The soldier whom officials identified as Jasbir Singh succumbed to his injuries while on way to hospital.

This comes on the same day when a CRPF trooper died in the ongoing gunfight at Lethpora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Sunday.

A couple of militants managed to enter into the CRPF camp at around 2 AM on Sunday.
