Kerala communists place Kim Jong-un as hero, BJP not amused

India Blooms News Service | @indiablooms | 18 Dec 2017, 11:06 am

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 18 (IBNS): Is communism in Kerela suffering an identity crisis? Must be the case as the state chose Kim Jong-un, an unlikely hero, as their poster boy.

The North Korean dictator found himself as the darling of the red brigade in India's southern most state, which is known for its strong communist sentiments.

However, not everyone is happy with the issue.

Taking a dig at the communist, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra tweeted, "Kim Jong-un finds place in CPM’s posters in Kerala!!"

"No wonder they have converted Kerala into Killing fields for their opponents! Hope the left is not planning to launch missiles at the RSS,BJP offices as their next gruesome agenda!" Patra said.

Defending the action, CPM district secretariat member P N Vijayan told the Times of India, "Kim is the only communist leader who dares to challenge US President Donald Trump. He's a die-hard fighter against American imperialism which has killed thousands while playing the role of the world's cop. For us, that is the important thing; we do not consider other elements of Kim's personality."
