New Delhi, Nov 24 (IBNS): The Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs announced on Friday that the winter session of the Parliament will be held from December 15 to January 5, according to media reports.

The delay in holding the winter session of the Parliament had been much debated over the past few weeks with the opposition parties claiming that it has been delayed owing to the Gujarat elections.

The session commences a day after the conclusion of the two-day Gujarat polls, media reported.

Quoting sources, the media reported that there will be no session on December 24 and 25.
