Building collapses in Mumbai, 1 person dies
Mumbai, Aug 31 (IBNS): A five-storied building at Bhendi Bazaar in Mumbai has collapsed on Thursday morning killing one person and leaving several others trapped inside it, media reports said.
10 fire tenders are presently at the site where the building collapsed.
The NDRF team is also carrying out the rescue operation at the site.
The collapse of the building occurred a day after the normal life in the financial capital of the country has been restored following a heavy rain that completely dislodged and disrupted the city.
Further details are awaited.
