Kolkata/New Delhi, May 24 (IBNS): Amidst the show of unified opposition before the presidential election, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee is all set to meet prime minister Narendra Modi to hold discussion on developmental issues at the national capital on Thursday, according to media reports.

While leaving for New Delhi, Banerjee was quoted saying, "We will meet the prime minister. We need to discuss some projects of Bengal. Deocha-Panchami coal block project is still pending. We need to discuss Ganga action plan. Moreover, central funds for many projects have still not reached us."

"Whenever, I visit Delhi, I try to speak to Centre. This is a dialogue between two governments," she added.

Banerjee is also expected to take part in the meeting of all parties of the Opposition to decide the name of the presidential candidate, on Friday.

Last week WB CM met Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi to hold discussion on presidential election though no names crept up.

Pranab Mukherjee's presidential term will expire in the month of July.
