Arunachal Pradesh : Four Government employees arrested with leopard skin and bones

Guwahati, May 17 (IBNS) : Forest officials arrested four employees of the Arunachal Pradesh Government in Assam's Biswanath district and recovered a leopard skin and bones from their possession on Tuesday.

According to  reports, the arrested people were posted  with the Arunachal Pradesh health department in the Dafalagarh tea garden area.

A forest official said that the accused  had contacted a buyer and planned to sell the   leopard skin and bones.

"A leopard skin and nearly five kilogram bones were recovered from their possession. During preliminary interrogation, the arrested persons revealed that they were carrying the skin and bones for sell, the forest official said.

The Assam forest department has started an  investigation into the case.
