2014 Lok Sabha victory: BJP completes third year of poll win

New Delhi, May 16 (IBNS): Tuesday marked the third anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party's landslide victory in the Lok Sabha polls in 2014.

It removed from power the UPA government which ruled the nation for ten years from 2004 to 2014.

BJP clinched the major victory under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, after three years, a survey conducted by LocalCircles has shown at 3 year mark, 61 percent citizens satisfied with government performance.

"59% believe Govt on track to deliver to promises made in pre-election manifesto," read the release issued by LocalCircles.

The survey said progress in Parliament and handling of Pakistan most appreciated by citizens.

"Rising Cost of living and prices of essential commodities a cause for concern," read a government statement.
