New Delhi/Beijing, Feb 22 (IBNS): India and China held their upgraded strategic dialogue in Beijing on Wednesday to shore up bilateral ties, media reported.

Prior to the talk, India's Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar had a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

On Wednesday, prior to holding the dialogue with China’s Executive Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui, Jaishankar said that the events underlined the increasing importance of India's ties with China.

The dialogue is expected to resolve differences over China's reluctance to support India’s NSG bid as well as a UN ban on JeM chief Masood Azhar.
