J&K: 2 soldiers, 4 militants killed in Kulgam encounter

Srinagar, Feb 12 (IBNS): Two army soldiers and four militants were killed in an encounter with security forces on Sunday morning in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Reports said that forces cordoned off the village Nagbal Frisal and conducted searches after receiving inputs about the presence of militants.

Four militants and two army soldiers were killed, while three other soldiers were injured during fierce gunfight.

Deputy Inspector General South Kashmir S P Pani confirmed the death of two army men and four militants.
