PM Modi condoles loss of lives in Afghanistan avalanches
New Delhi, Feb 6 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday condoled the loss of lives in Afghanistan due to avalanches.
“Heartfelt condolences on the loss of lives in Afghanistan due to avalanches," the Prime Minister said.
He said: "India stands ready to assist in any way possible.”
Heavy snow and avalanches have resulted in the death of more than 106 people in Afghanistan, BBC News reported.
Several have also been injured in the deadly avalanches.
