New Delhi, Feb 4 (IBNS): Reacting to the 'SCAM' remark made by Prime MInister Narendra Modi against opposition parties, Congress leader Tom Vadakkan said such comment does not suit the PM.

He said the PM should clearly showcase the future roadmap for the development of the nation.

"Instead of delivering on what the roadmap ahead is, we heard only abbreviations from the PM

He said the PM should take back remarks that the Indian Army had carried out surgical strikes in Pakistan territory last year as instead it had taken place in PoK.

The Congress leader said: "DGMO reported that Surgical Strike happened in LoC, but, PMs reference was to PoK."

He said: "When did the PoK become a part of Pakistan's territory? Is it correct for the PM to say this?"

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday mocked the opponents by calling them 'SCAM' as he campaigned in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh's Meerut town for his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

"By scam I mean, S- Samajwadi (Party) , C - Congress, A- Akhilesh (Yadav), M - Mayawati," Modi said targeting the opposition party.

He asked the crowd: "UP, do you want SCAM or BJP? SCAM or UP's progress?"

He said his BJP is fighting against the SCAM.

Modi said UP will not witness progress unless SCAM is voted out from the state.
