Delhi police seize fake new currency notes
New Delhi, Jan 10 (IBNS): Delhi police, on Tuesday, seized fake notes of Rs 2000 and Rs 500 from a gang allegedly involved in printing of counterfeit currency, according to media reports.
The gang was preparing to put these fake notes into circulation, media reported quoting police sources.
So far, fake notes with face value of Rs. 6.5 lakh were seized from the accused, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West) Surender Kumar, reported The Hindu.
