Inter-Ministerial Central team to visit Tamil Nadu next week

New Delhi, Dec 23 (IBNS): An Inter-Ministerial Central Team will visit Tamil Nadu next week to do an on-the-spot assessment of the situation in the wake of Cyclone storm ‘Vardah’ of December 2016.

The team will be led by Praveen Vashista, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

The representatives of Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Power, Ministry of Road, Transport & Highways, Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Water Resources are the members of the Inter-Ministerial Team, read a government statement.
