Govt not dispensing cash in minority areas: Asaduddin Owaisi

India Blooms News Service | | 12 Dec 2016, 11:24 pm
New Delhi, Dec 12 (IBNS): Kicking off a controversy, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday alleged that Narendra Modi-led central government is not dispensing cash at ATMs in minority dominated areas, media reports said.

He reportedly blamed the PM for "unnecessarily troubling the Muslims" through his demonetisation policy.

Earlier, he had also called Modi “a tyrant”, who has caused severe problems in every house to "satisfy his ego."

His comments have received flak from Minister of state for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) Giriraj Singh.

Singh said this issue should not be given a religious angle.
