Mumbai, Dec 12 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a Mumbai based dentist on Sunday killed his wife after the couple had a heated argument while their 4-year-old son was sleeping in the next room.

Dr Umesh Babole, (38), himself called the Shivaji Park police and informed them that he had killed his wife.

According to reports, the couple had frequent arguments.

On Sunday morning, he reportedly had a nasty dispute with his wife Tanuja at 6.30 in the morning.

Babole then stabbed his wife in anger while their son was sleeping in the next room.

The dentist reportedly sat with his wife's body for three hours before he called the police at 9:30 am.

Babole was arrested on the spot and police also recovered the knife he used to kill Tanuja from his possession.
