Maoist killed in encounter in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Nov 17 (IBNS): A Maoist was killed in an encounter with special forces in the Pamed area of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh on Thursday, according to media sources.

Police recovered arms and ammunition from the spot, said local sources.

It is said that a Cobra 204 battalion was conducting search in the area when they were fired upon by the terrorists, media reported. They special force opened fire in retaliation, media reported.
