WB: Six bodies found at three places in Kolkata, Hooghly

Kolkata/Hooghly, Nov 10 (IBNS): Police on Thursday recovered as many five men's bodies and one woman's body from central Kolkata and two different places in city's adjoining Hooghly district, reports said.

According to reports, body of a middle aged woman was found, lying beside a street, near Outram Ghat Road area under Maidan Police Station limits in the morning.

Identity of the woman has not been known so far, while the body has been sent for post mortem, according to police reports.

Meanwhile, locals found four unidentified youths' bodies on a road-side paddy field at Simlapul area under Chinsura Police Station limits in West Bengal's Hooghly district, according to reports.

After starting investigation into the case, police have detained two suspects in connection with the murders.

Body of a 32-year-old driver, who has been identified as Subrata Karmakar alias Kochi, was reportedly recovered from Sarkar Bagan area under Chandannagar Police Station limits in the same district.

Police officials said that probe had been commenced into the matter, while main accused in the case- Purna Saha- is still absconding.
