Encounter between cops, Maoists in Bihar
Patna, Apr 8 (IBNS): Security personnel and Maoists on Tuesday got engaged in a gun-fight in Jamui district of Bihar.
According to reports, a group of Maoists were trying to enter Jamui, when, acting on a tip off, a joint team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and district police intercepted them.
The Maoists, on being stopped, started firing at the security personnel. The cops retaliated.
The encounter is still underway.
There have been no casualties so far.
