J&K: Cop, militant killed in encounter

Srinagar, Apr 8 (IBNS) At least one Special Operations Group (SOG) officer and a militant were killed in an encounter in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, said reports.

According to reports, another security officer was also injured in the gun-fight that took place in Zoonarewshi area near the Line of Control (LoC).

The police said at least two more terrorists are still hiding in the area.
