Mamata Banerjee's escort car falls into Darjeeling gorge
Darjeeling, July 15 (IBNS) : An escort car for West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee fell into a gorge in Darjeeling on Friday, reports said.
At least six people have been rescued so far.
The incident occurred when the car went off the road while negotiating a sharp bend on the hilly road.
The Chief Minister, who has been a visit to Darjeeling, is overseeing the rescue operations.

President Pranab Mukherjees convoy was traveling ahead of the Chief Minister. The President's children, Abhijit and Sharmishtha, are helping in the rescue attempts.
