Sarbananda inaugurates Assam House in Shillong

Guwahati, May 26 (IBNS): Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday inaugurated the refurbished Assam House in Shillong during a function.
The three-storied Assam House built on a sprawling 12 bighas of land has 30 rooms including six VIP suites and two VVIP suites.
 
The state of the art Assam House has facilities like conference hall, office space, lobbies, foyers, dining hall and a dormitory and the total the project cost involved in the construction is Rs. 10.36 crore, an official release said.
 
The plaque was unveiled by the Chief Minister in presence of Chief Secretary V.K. Pipersenia, Commissioner and Special Secretary PWD (B), Ajay Bordoloi and a host of other dignitaries.
