Navigation satellite : Modi congratulates ISRO, says India will provide technology to others

New Delhi, Apr 28 (IBNS) Congratulating the scientists of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for successful launch of PSLV-C33 rocket which carries seventh navigation satellite of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said the country will now be able to provide the GPS technology to others.
"Now India has become part of the elite club," he said. 
 
"The navigation technology used in the satellite is indigenous. Now will be able to provide this technology to others," he said. 
 
Creating history, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Thursday launched the PSLV-C33 rocket which carried seventh navigation satellite of the country.

PSLV-C33, which is  carrying Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System-IRNSS-1G, blasted off  from Sriharikota space station here at12.50 p.m.

 Modi said it is a gift by the scientists to the people of India.

Modi said: "India has launched 7 such navigation satellites which have been successful."

"With this successful launch, we will determine our own paths powered by our technology. This is a great gift to people from scientists," Modi said.

"Our efforts will not only help India but we can help fellow SAARC nations as well," he said.

Modi said through space science lives of people can be transformed.
