Shillong, Apr 13 (IBNS) A massive fire broke out at Shillong's St Peter's Higher Secondary School on Wednesday morning, destroying the heritage institution, according to reports.
Initial reports have said that the fire broke out at around 4 a.m.

No casualties were reported as most students escaped from the back entrance.

The woodwork frame of this age old building aided the fire spread.

Though a short circuit is being held responsible for the outbreak, a chance of foul play is also being considered, reports said.

Further details are awaited.
