Mamata congratulates KKR for winning IPL

Kolkata, June 1 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday.

She also congratulated Bengal lad Wriddhiman Saha for his unbeaten knock of 115 runs for Kings XI Punjab i nthe final against KKR.

"Congratulations... KKR. Congratulations...shahrukh..Congratulations to Wriddhiman for his brilliant performance," Banerjee wrote in her Facebook page.

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, who is also the brand ambassador of West Bengal, is the owner of KKR.

KKR had won the title in 2012.
