Feather in Delhi Police's cap, enter record books

New Delhi, Jan 2 (IBNS) Delhi Police on Saturday made it to the Limca Book of Records as the police unit to solve the biggest money heist in India.

Commissioner of Delhi Police, BS Bassi took to Twitter to confirm about their achievement.

Posting a picture of the certificate, the top cop wrote: "DP enters the Lima Book of Records for making India's largest ever cash recovery of ₹22.49 Crores of stolen money."

The recognition came after the Delhi police successfully recovered Rs 22.5 crore following a heist by a driver of a cash van on Nov 27 in New Delhi.
