Mumbai: Female cops caught on camera beating up a woman during Ganesh festival suspended

Mumbai, Sept 29 (IBNS): The Mumbai Police on Tuesday suspended the two female constables who were caught on camera slapping a woman at a pandal in Mumbai during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival on Friday, media reports said.
The two women constables are identified as Varsha Patil and Anuradha Solunke. 
 
The suspension was carried out based on preliminary enquiry.
 
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday and the video has gone viral on social media on Monday.
