India will soon be in group of top three economy in world: Rajnath Singh

Lucknow, Sept 26 (IBNS) Participating at 'Shikhar Samagam', a program organized by Hindustan newspaper in Lucknow, on Saturday, three Union Ministers gave emphasis on sustainable development of country.

 The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh emphatically asserted that if the existing growth rate of country continues with same manner, soon India will be in group of top three economies of the world.

Rajnath Singh was speaking on topic ‘Desh ki Suraksha aur tarakki: Disha-Dasha’.

Speaking on India’s relations with neighboring countries, he said that Pakistan has been consistently violating the ceasefire accord between the two countries, but India has been giving them befitting reply.

The Union Home Minister said that top priorities are safety of borders and to stop infiltration at borders as well.

He said that he has told to Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) not to fire first bullet, but if Pakistan does it then respond appropriately.

Besides, Rajnath Singh said that country’s borders with Pakistan and China are highly sensitive.

Government has held discussions with Myanmar, Bhutan and Bangladesh over security and on evolving common strategies, he added.

Over Naxal issue, Rajnath Singh said that there has been 35% decline in Naxal attacks.

On ISIS, Singh said that this outfit will never succeed in establishing any network in India.

Singh thanked the people of the country for not letting ISIS to raise its’ head in the country.

The Union Minister for Road and Transport, Nitin Gadkari spoke on topic ‘Highway ki Gati se highway: kab aur kaise’.

Nitin Gadkari asserted that toll tax will never be stopped.

Adding, he said, Government doesn’t have money for construction of roads. Toll tax may be lower or higher but will exist. He also said that for using the better roads one has to pay the tax.

Gadkari also said that in next two years there will be manufacturing of vehicles running with battery with least pollution. On Bihar,

Gadkari said that in next three years cost of Rs 63 thousand crores will be incurred on construction of roads.   

Speaking on topic, ‘Naujawan desh me vishwa stariya shiksha: Kashish aur Koshish’ the Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Smriti Irani stressed upon the need for evolving separate skill programs at district level to ensure better education.

Smriti Irani said that for better education, the need of the hour is that every district must have it’s own skill based program. Prior to this one will have to perceive the facts that what are the small industries in vogue in a district and to know the aspirations of education among people living in district level, she added.

Earlier she also said that in education we have schemes and courses at centre and state level only and there must be evaluation regarding education at regular interval of time.
