New York, Sept 26 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday attended the G4 Summit in New York where he said that the people live in a 'fundamentally different world' from the time the UN was born.

"We live in a fundamentally different world from the time the UN was born," Modi said.

Speaking on reform, he said: "Reforms in United Nations Security Council has been the focus of global attention for decades – unfortunately, without progress so far."

"I am delighted that we are meeting again as Heads of Government after ten years," the PM said.

The G-4 grouping comprises Brazil, Germany and Japan, besides India.

The Prime Minister will then travel to San Jose, California. He will visit Tesla Motors and will meet top officials of IT companies, including Tim Cook (Apple Inc.), Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Sundar Pichai (Google) and Shantanu Narayen (Adobe).
