President Pranab Mukherjee wishes people of Armenia ahead of their I-Day

New Delhi, Sept 20 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday extended his greetings and felicitations to the government and the people of the Republic of Armenia on the eve of their Independence Day.

In his message to Serzh Sargsyan, the President of the Republic of Armenia, the President said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I have the pleasure to convey warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the Government and people of Armenia on the occasion of your Independence Day."

"We, in India, are delighted to witness the progress and development achieved by the people of Armenia in the last two and half decades. We wish them further success in their chosen path of development," Mukherjee said.

"India remains committed to work with the people of Armenia to further deepen our traditional and mutually beneficial bilateral relationship," he said.

Mukherjee said: "Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and personal well-being as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Armenia.”
