Ten children among 11 killed in Afghan gas terminal explosions

Herat, Afghanistan, Aug 25 (IBNS) At least ten children and one adult were killed as a series of huge explosions at a gas terminal rocked the western Afghan city of Herat on Tuesday, reports said.

The victims were dwellers of a camp for war-displaced people.

The explosions could be heard from far-off areas as the fire sprang high into the sky.

At least 18 people were just an accident or an act by militants is yet to be ascertained.
