At least 11 killed in Bengal firecracker factory explosion
Pingla, West Bengal, May 7 (IBNS) At least 11 people have been killed and 7 injured following a massive explosion in a firecracker factory at Pingla in the West Midnapore district.
The blast took place in the wee hours of Thursday.
Reports said 33 people were working at the factory at the time of the blast.
The factory owner Ram Maity and his wife have reportedly been killed in the blast.
Police arrested another owner, Ranjan Maity.
