Imphal/IBNS: Manipur gears up to host the ShiRock 2023, featuring two international bands, as part of the highly anticipated Shirui Lily Festival in the Ukhrul district.

This four-day extravaganza, organized by the Manipur Tourism Department, marks the 5th edition of the festival and is scheduled to kick off from May 17th to May 20th, reported EastMojo.

The annual ShiRock international rock festival has earned a reputation as one of the most prominent music festivals in the northeastern region, drawing large crowds year after year.

This year, on the opening and closing days of the festival, audiences can look forward to performances by two renowned international bands: Orphaned Land, a progressive metal band from Israel, and Bon Giovi, a tribute band hailing from the UK that pays homage to the iconic New Jersey rockers, Bon Jovi.

Sources indicate that the 7 Sisters Foundation will be managing ShiRock 2023, marking a departure from previous years.
