Sculpt Carve Chisel: Sculpture group show in New Delhi

New Delhi/IBNS: An exhibition of sculptures by contemporary artists is being held at the Art Explore in New Delhi.

Participants at the group show titled Sculpt Carve Chisel are Ratilal Kansodia, Shampa Shah, Shitanshu Maurya, Ramkumar Kannadasan, Kanchan Karjee, and Ajay Singh Bhadoriya.

Each artist has portrayed a unique expression through their body of works.

Ramkumar Kannadasan references iconic religious sculptures to create a series apt for today’s times.

Ratilal Kansodia plays with basic human emotions to create works in bronze.

Ajay Singh Bhadoriya is inspired by the architectural structures around him, creating unique sculptures with a social message.

Kanchan Karjee uses the human form with a twist to deliver his message.

Shampa Shah uses ceramics to portray what she feels about using an everyday object.

Shitanshu Maurya experiments with different materials and forms.

The exhibition will run till August 12, 2022.

Venue and time:  Art Explore, E 55, Lower Ground, Panchsheel Park, New Delhi, 110017; 11am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday.
