Nagaland's First 'Green Festival' Promotes Beautification, Sanitation, and Recycling in Zunheboto"

Nagaland witnessed its first-ever "Green Festival" at the multipurpose hall in Zunheboto, organized by Miss Sumi 2022 Silver Queens in collaboration with Sumi Totimi Loka Zunheboto (STLZ) and the district administration.

 

The festival aimed to enhance the beauty of Zunheboto while supporting the causes of "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" and "Nasha Mukt Bharat," stated Nagaland Post.

The event saw the launch of "The Silver Vision," a project initiated by the Silver Queens to promote beautification, sanitation, and recycling in the region.

With active participation from various sectors, the festival showcased Southpoint west sector as a model sector for the community.

The festival featured a plantation drive and a music festival, featuring renowned Sümi artists, making it a purposeful and thrilling event.
