An interactive discussion "Connecting Hearts and Minds" took place recently at the St. Paul Institute of Communication for Women in Mumbai.

The event featured an esteemed panel comprising author Soma Bose, sociologist Reena Agrawal, and artist-mentor and TedX speaker Samar Singh Jodha.

The session, attended by nearly 80 students, provided an engaging platform for discussions on human emotions, relationships, and ways to foster stronger connections in an increasingly complex world.

The panelists shared their expertise on various facets of emotional connection, with Soma Bose highlighting her latest book, "I've Had Enough of You".

Known for her commitment to women’s empowerment, Bose emphasized how her writing aims to inspire and uplift women, encouraging them to overcome personal and societal challenges.

Samar Singh Jodha appealed to the students to listed to the call of their hearts,

“You have to listen to your heart and creativity or art is a call which you can only take when you listen to your heart," he said.

Almost 80 students keenly participated in the proceedings with an invigorating Q&A with panellists.

Moderator Dr Agarwal ensured that the students too came up with ideas of short stories around the theme.

The talk show proved to be an enriching experience, offering participants valuable insights into understanding human relationships and societal dynamics.

The engaging session left students with much to reflect upon regarding the importance of building meaningful connections in today’s fast-paced world.
