Dil se donates artificial limbs to Mahavir Seva Sadan and launches its brochure

Kolkata, May 4 (IBNS) DilSe, a Kolkata based charitable foundation, held its second round of donation for “501” artificial limbs recently.

The charity was for Mahavir Seva Sadan, an organization which primarily manufactures and fits artificial limbs for the mobility of challenged patients. They also launched their exclusive brochure which has all the details about the charitable organization.

Founded by  Alka Dalmia,  Vidhi Agarwal,  Sangeeta Thacker and  ManjuPachisia, Dil Se is based on the principle of "spreading happiness" amongst people who are underprivileged and physically challenged.

On the occassion,  AlkaDalmia, one of the key founders, added: "We feel fortunate that that we got an opportunity to help people who are forced into this forbidding experience of immobility."

The event was graced by the chief guests Mrs.Pooja Goenka(Director of Emami group of companies) and Dr.Pranab Dasgupta(City's leading gynaecologist).

Pooja Goenka said, “This Initiative is commendable. It is an outstanding contribution to the physically disabled society and Dil Se is doing a great job.

Dil Se is a charitable foundation and the Concept store at Alipore is a part of it. The organisation believes in the concept of Recycling, Up-cycling and Renewing to restore the original piece and to cater to every fashion enthusiast keeping their needs in mind.
