Cookery workshop by chef Kunal

Kolkata, Aug 25 (IBNS) Ladies Circle India organised an interactive Cookery Workshop by chef Kunal Kapur for the first time ever in Kolkata recently.

“The Internationally Indian Cookery Workshop by Master chef Kunal Kapur” was one of a kind event and was attended by Richa Sharma, Mrs. India International, Chanda Zaveri, molecular biologist and founder-owner of companies like Actiogen and Skin Healix, among others.

The event marked the launch of  Chanda Zaveri as Brand Ambassador of Ladies Circle India & Jewel of LC 46.

Addressing the media, Cr. Smita Murarka, Chairperson of Calcutta Park Street Ladies Circle 46 said, “This time CPLC 46 (member of LC India) thought it fit to host ‘Internationally Indian Cookery Workshop’, by Master Chef Kunal Kapur to teach the women of Kolkata how International cuisines can be prepared in our Indian kitchen. It’s a total sold out event with Ladies still calling for passes till the very last moment too. Kolkata is a big fan of Master Chef Kunal Kapur and he is an acknowledged Chef who has travelled across the world and is renowned for his culinary skills. We really feel grateful that he agreed to be amongst us and enrich us with his art of cooking. It’s the first workshop by Master Chef Kunal Kapur at Kolkata.”

Speaking about the event, Cr. Soumya Sanjjay, National President (LC India) said, “With changing times, even our food tastes have changed and we are more and more inclined towards fusion foods, different cuisines, etc. Hence, what can be better than having to learn International cooking in the Indian way? In order to achieve our goals of “Educate to Enlighten”, we have in the past done various programs. “
