Butoh dance workshop held in Manipur, participants immersed themselves in the unique art form, experiencing a profound connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Led by renowned facilitator Agu Tara, the workshop focused on calming daily consciousness to achieve a state of unity.

Through techniques like listening to the resonance of trees and rocks, participants tapped into subtle energies and harnessed the power of their surroundings.

Butoh, an art form originating in Japan after World War II, emphasizes the exploration of bodily weakness rather than strength. By embodying spirits known as "Shisha," dancers effortlessly transform into various entities, embodying infinite possibilities.

The workshop provided an experiential journey into this transformative dance form, fostering self-discovery and artistic expression.
