One of the very noted percussion bands Beatblasters has announced its debut album on its eighth birthday.

The band features all ace percussionists like Himadri Sekhar Das, Namit Bajoria, Ranit Das Chiranjit Sarkar, Subhodeep Kundu Chowdhury,  Ritam Gayen.

All the members celebrated the band's birthday through cake cutting and a live gig recently.

Beat is defined as a rhythmic movement or is the speed at which a piece of music is played.

Noted percussionist Himadri Sekhar Das's brainchild Beatblasters started its journey on Dec 17, 2015.

The band generates rhythm and melody offering various percussion intrusions collected across the globe.

It creates music with some social messages where beats and rhythms bear a definite communication for a cause.

Last year they released a music video Paracyclone dedicated to performing  artists who faced a bad phase due to the pandemic.

Himadri Sekhar Das says, "It's been a memorable journey. We always love to feature unique percussion instruments which audiences love to explore."

Namit Bajoria says, "We produce new kinds of soundscapes. We don't have any albums yet. That's why we are planning our debut instrumental album in the new year."
