Apple’s next big move? iPhone 18 production testing to begin as early as January: Reports

| @indiablooms | Dec 23, 2025, at 06:08 pm

Tech giant Apple is reportedly planning to begin mass production testing of the iPhone 18 series as early as January, according to media reports.

The trial production phase is expected to start shortly after New Year’s Day, with manufacturing lines for the Pro models already in place, Technobezz reported.

Chinese leaker Fixed Focus Digital has claimed that assembly lines for the iPhone 18 Pro are already operational.

As per the report, large-scale production trials are likely to begin ahead of China’s Spring Festival on February 17, 2026.

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to feature only minimal exterior design changes, contradicting earlier rumours that suggested a major redesign of Apple’s upcoming flagship devices.
