Kolkata, Sept 19 (IBNS): Ethnotel is the hottest new destination for the city fliers just 5 minutes off the NSCBI Airport.

This boutique hotel has come up at a vantage point enjoyed by none other in its category. The hotel boasts of 40 standard and deluxe rooms and one Presidential suite with a view to the airport like none other.

The hotel was inaugurated on Friday by Actor Abir Chatterjee and Tollywood diva Nusrat Jahan.

“The hotel looks very impressive indeed and I am especially upbeat about how close this is to the airport! I can see the runway from the rooms and that appeals to me a lot. This is a place one can unwind at, after flying in,” exclaimed Abir Chatterjee.

“Kolkata needs good hotels and Ethnotel looks like it’s quite fitting in the bill. Not only the commuters, one also needs to spare a thought for the cabin crew and pilots of a flight and such a hotel is truly affordable luxury for all. I am really looking forward to Ethnotel doing very well in the future,” said Nusrat.

Speaking on the occasion, Dilip Raha, Director, Raha Hospitality Pvt Ltd., said: “This hotel is the reality of the dream that we saw of bringing luxury to the city travellers at affordable rates. It is the first in the chain of hotels that we plan to build. It is also our commitment to our beloved state to create job opportunities and boost an industrial segment.”

Equipped to handle both business and holiday clients, the hotel boasts of a 100-seater banquet, a modern lounge bar, a restaurant that serves the sweet and savouries, hot and cold, anytime of the day, 24-hours Wi-Fi , valet parking, airport pick-up and drop and city services for its guests.

“When I returned to India, I came with a dream. The hotel is a reflection of what I learnt abroad and what my parents imbibed in me as a child. We promise to give our guests a service that they would love to come back to again and again. Just 15 minutes from the IT hub, 40 minutes from the Esplanade and 5 minutes from check-in at the airport, we have the advantage of the best inward and outward flow in the city,” said Souvik Raha, Managing Director, Raha Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.

“There is almost everything that money can buy. But here we give our guests something special --a hospitality, warmth and comfort that comes from our work ethics and commitment. Our repeat customers bring the biggest smile back on our faces,” said Sanjay Ray, General Manager, Ethnotel.
