Ideate Playlabs' first pop-up workshop at Story

Kolkata, Apr 5 (IBNS): Story, a bookstore chain by Primarc in Kolkata, had hosted its first pop-up workshop for kids in association with Ideate Playlabs on Sunday.

The first pop-up story telling workshop at Story was on the famous "Toto the Auto." In these stories, Toto and his driver Pattu go about solving problems, helping others and having loads of fun along the way. These are stories that gently teach kids timeless values like kindness, bravery, confidence along with the modern-day life skills needed to be happy in the world of today.

Ideate Playlabs aims to empower the children to be a self-directed and lifelong learner.

People at Ideate Playlabs say, "We believe the division between work and play is a myth. If we are going to teach our kids to innovate, we need to unite the two. The walls of Story have been adorned with literary pieces specially picked out for children of various age groups. Every Sunday, Story organizes the ‘STORY-Teller’s’ club meet, where various activities are planned for the kids to have fun while they learn, at its flagship store at Elgin road.

Story organizes regular events for kids and two annual events, 'Winter Carnival' and the 'Summer Fest'. Summer fest includes summer camp. In these events Story has different activities for kids like Fashion Shows, competitions, workshops.

There are a total of four Story outlets in West Bengal at Elgin road, Diamond Plaza mall, Nager Bazar and Avani river-side mall.
