New Delhi, May 14 (IBNS): As the world dedicated Sunday to pay respects to mothers, popular search engine Google created an innovative doodle to celebrate Mother's Day.

Google presented animated doodle to honour the sacrifices and efforts that a mother takes for her child.

The Google Doodle displayed a series of story of a pregnant cactus and her journey as a mother from giving birth to her baby cacti, to taking care of it and finally living a settled life with the grown up babies.

Mother's Day is a celebration of honoring motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.

It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May.

Celebrities took to Twitter to wish their mothers on this special day.
