Dollar celebrated the spirit of Durga Puja with 'Pujor Chhonde Mato Anonde' in Kolkata

Kolkata, Oct 12 (IBNS) Dollar, a clothing brand, celebrated the festive spirit with 'Pujor Chhonde Mato Anonde', a unique proposition of choosing the best 'para dhak' player, best 'para dunuchi' dancer and best 'para shanko' player, here on Sunday.

Dollar will zoom in different Puja Pandals during the Pujas and will select the talented dancers.

Actor Abir Chatterjee, Actress Shrabanti Chatterjee, Actor Rudranil Ghosh and Director Raj Chakroborty were present to inaugurate ‘Pujor Chonde mato Anonde’.They were also at the event to Promote their upcoming movie ‘Katmundu', slated for  Oct 16 release.

Vinod Gupta, Managing Director, Dollar Industries Limited said, “One can get energized and be enthralled by listening to the beats of Dhaak. The dancing with the mesmerized beats of Dhaak is an essential fervour of Bengalis during Pujas. Dollar decided to be a part of the festivities again this year and celebrate with the uninhibited spirit of Durga with ‘Pujor Chhonde Mato Anonde’.

The competition is expected to be really tough as various Puja commities like Barisha Club, Sangha Shree,Pally Mangal, Rajdanga Naba Uday Sangha, Haridebpur 41 Pally, Naba Durga, Simla Bayam Samity, Kasi Bose Lane, Nalin Sarkar Sarkar Street, Salt Lake BD Block, Tala Barowari Durgotsab, Dumdum Park Tarun Sangha are taking part.
